Dualtron builds dual motor scooters from a short, solid-tire Compact to the 182 lb X Limited. Here is how the eight models line up and who each one is for.
The short answer
Every Dualtron electric scooter we carry has two motors, so the choice comes down to battery, brakes and weight. The Eagle Pro (66 lb) and Compact (75 lb) are the lightest entries on 60V. The Victor Luxury and the original Thunder add hydraulic brakes with ABS. The 72V Storm, Thunder 3 and Ultra 2 step up to 55 to 63 mph class speeds, and the 84V X Limited tops the line with 13 inch tires and up to 105 miles of range. Pick the lightest model that covers your longest ride.
All eight Dualtron electric scooters in our catalog are dual motor machines. They split into four steps by battery voltage and size.
See every model on the Dualtron brand page. If dual motors are new to you, read single vs dual motor electric scooter first.
These two are the easiest Dualtrons to live with, and they take different routes to get there.
Choose the Eagle Pro for the lighter frame and disc brakes, and the Compact for more battery and tires that never puncture. Solid tires ride firmer over rough pavement; our guide to solid vs air filled electric scooter tires explains the trade. For drums against discs, see electric scooter brakes explained.
The middle of the lineup adds hydraulic brakes with ABS and more speed.
The Victor Luxury is the lighter, better equipped daily rider, with turn signals, a water rating and self-healing tires. The Thunder carries the bigger battery and more motor power for longer, faster rides.
The 72V Dualtrons are performance scooters for experienced riders. All three carry riders up to 330 lb.
Pick the Storm if you want to swap batteries, the Thunder 3 for the strongest brakes and the most range in this group, and the Ultra 2 for trails and the lowest weight. The Ultra 2 charges in about 23 hours on its standard charger or 5 hours on the fast charger, so plan for a fast charger if you ride it daily.
The Dualtron X Limited is built at a different scale from the rest of the line. It pairs two 6,200 W peak hub motors with dual 84V 65 A controllers and an 84V 60Ah Samsung battery (5,040 Wh), for 65+ mph and up to 105 miles.
It rolls on 13 x 5 inch tubeless tires, stops with Nutt 4-piston hydraulic brakes on 160 mm rotors and rides on 950 lb/in coilovers with 19-way adjustment. Four 100 W headlights run off a separate 12V 16Ah light battery. It weighs 182 lb, carries riders up to 330 lb and takes 10+ hours to charge with the fast charger.
182 lb is a garage scooter, not a carry scooter. You will not lift it up stairs or into a car trunk alone, so measure your storage space and access before you order. Our hyper scooters guide covers what machines in this class demand.
Maker figures for all eight models, lightest platform first. Dualtron lists most motors as peak power per motor, so the table leaves the combined motor figure blank.

Every Dualtron here is faster than most US cities allow on public roads. Speed limits for electric scooters, where you may ride and whether a scooter this fast needs registration all vary by state and city. Check your state motor vehicle agency and your city rules before you ride, and use the lower speed modes anywhere you share space with others.
At these speeds, a full face helmet and proper riding gear are part of the purchase. Brake, battery and controller work belongs with a qualified technician, and covered faults go through our warranty page.
