We started in 2020 in Elmhurst, Queens, because getting across the city was broken. Today we are an online electric scooter and e-bike dealer shipping free to all 48 lower states — run by people who actually ride.
We set out to solve a problem. Sitting in traffic, waiting on an overcrowded train, paying to park a car we barely used — the daily commute was broken. An electric scooter fixed it in a week, and we spent the next year telling anyone who would listen.
So we became the shop we wished had existed when we were the ones shopping: one run by riders who read the spec sheets, ask manufacturers the awkward questions, and won't put their name on a machine they wouldn't ride themselves.
What started in Elmhurst as a local obsession is now a nationwide online store. The name still says NYC because that is where it began — and the riders we serve are in every corner of the lower 48.

No venture money and no grand plan. Riders told other riders, and we kept up.
A local passion project run out of Queens, built entirely on scooters we had already put our own miles on. Every sale started as a conversation, usually a long one.
Riders outside New York started calling. Shipping replaced walk-ins, the catalog widened from commuters to performance machines, and the name stayed exactly as it was.
