Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to browse, choose and buy a ride here. If something on the site gets in your way, tell us, and we help you finish what you came to do.
How we approach it
A site you can use with a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control or magnification. We work toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
When we build or rebuild a page we check keyboard use, visible focus, labels, error messages and reduced motion. No overlay widgets.
If anything gets in your way, call or text (240) 916-2471 or email info@speedwayridersnyc.com, and we help you finish.

Our commitment
Speedway Riders NYC wants everyone to be able to browse, compare and buy a ride on speedwayridersnyc.com, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, voice control, screen magnification, captions or other assistive technology.
The standard we work to
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, as our target. We are working toward it across the site; we do not claim that every page meets it today, and we would rather hear about a problem than have you work around it.
What we do
When we build or rebuild a page, we:
- make sure everything can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, in a sensible order, with a visible outline showing where you are;
- give every form field a label, and explain errors in words, not by color alone;
- use real headings, lists and landmarks so screen readers can move around the page;
- describe meaningful images, and hide decorative ones from screen readers;
- turn off animation and smooth scrolling when your device is set to reduce motion;
- let text be zoomed and pages reflow on small screens without losing content.
We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We fix the pages themselves.
Where you may still run into problems
Some content on the site comes from other companies and is not fully under our control:
- Payment and financing windows from Stripe, Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay at checkout.
- The human check on our forms, run by Cloudflare Turnstile.
- Carrier tracking pages at FedEx and UPS.
- Manufacturers’ material: manuals, spec sheets, videos and some older product descriptions, which can include text inside images or videos without captions.
If one of these stops you, tell us. We help you another way, and we raise it with the company concerned.
Getting help
Call or text (240) 916-2471: our AI assistant answers at any hour, and our team is available Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM Eastern. Or email info@speedwayridersnyc.com. We can talk you through a product, read out what a listing says, or help you complete an order the site got in the way of.
Telling us about a problem
Use the form above, or email or call us. It helps to know the page, what you were trying to do, what happened instead, and the browser and any assistive technology you use. You do not need to know any of the technical terms.
