What each choice does

• Global Privacy Control: a setting in some browsers. When it is on, we treat it as an opt-out on that browser and Google Analytics stays off.
• The Google Analytics switch: turns Google Analytics off, or back on, for this browser only.
• A request: reaches our team and covers you, not just one browser, once we can match it to you.
• Unsubscribe links: every marketing email has one, and it works straight away.

Do not sell or share my personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state laws count the use of analytics and advertising cookies as “selling” or “sharing”, even when no money changes hands, and give you the right to opt out of it.

To opt out, switch Google Analytics off above, use a browser that sends Global Privacy Control, or send a request with “Do not sell or share my information” picked. A request records your choice with us, so it also applies to anything done with your details outside the browser.

Global Privacy Control

Global Privacy Control is a signal that some browsers and privacy extensions send with every visit to say you do not want your information sold or shared. When your browser sends it, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for that browser, and Google Analytics does not run.

The signal comes from the browser, so it applies only to the browser that sends it. If you also want your choice recorded against your name, send a request as well.

Google Analytics on this browser

The switch saves your choice in a small cookie called sw_analytics that lasts a year. While it is set to off, Google Analytics is told not to collect anything from this browser, from the moment you flip it.

It covers Google Analytics only. Our site statistics from WordPress.com and the cookies the cart, checkout and payment providers need are not affected; the Cookie Policy lists them and explains how your browser’s settings can block cookies altogether.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, for a copy of it, to correct it, or to delete it. Use the form above, email info@speedwayridersnyc.com, or call or text (240) 916-2471. We reply within the time your state’s law allows.

When we delete your information, we keep only what the law requires, such as order and payment records for tax purposes, and anything needed to finish an order, return or claim that is still open. We tell you what we kept and why.

How we check it is you

To protect your information, we match a request with the details we already hold, usually the email address on your orders or account, and we may ask for one more detail, such as an order number. We will never ask for your full card number or your password.

Asking for someone else

An authorized agent can make a request on someone’s behalf with their signed permission. Pick “Someone else” on the form and put their name and email address in the details. We may ask the person to confirm their identity with us directly.

If we say no

If we cannot do all or part of what you ask, we tell you why. You can appeal by replying to our answer with “Appeal” in the subject line; we look at it again and tell you the outcome in writing. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state’s attorney general.

No penalty for asking

Using any of these choices never changes the price you pay, the service you get or what you can buy.

Marketing emails

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop with the form above. Emails about an order you have placed still come, because they are part of the order.
