The three NAVEE GT3 scooters share a frame, a 20 mph top speed and the same brakes and suspension. What changes is the battery, the motor peak and the climbing. Here is how to choose.
The short answer
The NAVEE GT3, GT3 Pro and GT3 Max are the same 20 mph commuter with three battery sizes. The NAVEE GT3 has a 358Wh battery and a 700W peak motor for up to 31 miles. The GT3 Pro moves to a 477.4Wh battery and a 1000W peak motor for up to 37.3 miles, climbs 22% slopes and carries 265 lb. The GT3 Max keeps the Pro’s motor and adds a 596.7Wh battery for up to 46.6 miles. All three share 10-inch tubeless tires, front fork and rear damping-cylinder suspension, a front drum brake with rear EABS, traction control, Apple Find My and IPX5, and weigh 46.3 to 50.7 lb.
The GT3 family is NAVEE’s everyday commuter: a 20 mph scooter with suspension, sealed brakes and tubeless tires. The three versions differ in battery, motor peak and weight.
All three sit under $500, and the Pro and Max sit close together in price. See every model on our NAVEE electric scooters and bikes page. For the whole NAVEE range, from the GT3 to the UT5, read NAVEE electric scooters compared.
| Model | Top speed (mph) | Range (miles) | Motor power (W) |
|---|---|---|---|
| NAVEE GT3 Electric Scooter | 20 | 31 | 350 |
| NAVEE GT3 Pro Electric Scooter | 20 | 37.3 | 400 |
| NAVEE GT3 Max Electric Scooter | 20 | 46.6 | 400 |
Maker figures, checked September 2026. Real range and speed depend on rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding mode.
Battery size is the main difference, and range follows it closely. The GT3 holds 358Wh, the GT3 Pro 477.4Wh (about a third more) and the GT3 Max 596.7Wh (about two thirds more than the GT3).
NAVEE rates range at 31 miles for the GT3, 37.3 for the Pro and 46.6 for the Max, all measured at 9 mph. That is a gentle pace, well below the 20 mph top speed, so expect less if you ride at full speed most of the time, in cold weather or uphill. Our guide to real electric scooter range shows how to estimate your own.
A simple rule: take your longest regular round trip and pick a scooter rated for about double. If your round trip is 10 miles, any GT3 will do. If it is 18 to 20 miles, the GT3 Max gives you the margin you want as the battery ages.
The Pro and Max share a stronger motor, and that shows on hills. The GT3 runs 350W rated with 700W peak. The GT3 Pro and GT3 Max both run 400W rated with 1000W peak.
If your route is flat and you weigh well under 243 lb, the GT3 is enough. If you face hills or carry a backpack and groceries, the Pro or Max is the safer choice. For more on hills, see best electric scooters for hills, and for load limits, electric scooter weight limits.
Everything you touch is the same on all three. That makes the choice simpler: you are only picking battery and power.
A drum brake is sealed from water and grit and needs little adjustment, which suits a daily commuter. Our sibling guide to drum vs disc brakes explains how it compares with a disc. If braking ever feels weak, power off, follow NAVEE’s manual, and have a qualified technician check it; never modify the brakes yourself. Covered faults are handled under our warranty.
More battery means more weight and a longer charge. The GT3 weighs 46.3 lb, the GT3 Pro 48.5 lb and the GT3 Max 50.7 lb. That 4.4 lb spread matters most if you carry the scooter up stairs every day.
NAVEE lists charging at 8 hours for the GT3 and GT3 Pro, and 10 hours for the GT3 Max. All three charge comfortably overnight, but if you need a quick top-up at work, the GT3 or Pro refill faster. Use only the charger NAVEE supplies, and read electric scooter charging time and cost for what a full charge takes in time and electricity.
Every GT3 stops at 20 mph. If you want more, NAVEE’s next step up in our catalog is the NAVEE ST3, rated at 24.9 mph, or the NAVEE GT5 Max, rated at 25 mph with up to 55.9 miles of range. Check your state and city rules for scooter speed limits before you choose, since they vary. Our guide to electric scooter laws lists what to look up.
Weighing NAVEE against other brands? Segway vs NAVEE vs Hiboy compares three commuter lineups, and our sibling guide to the Segway Max G3 vs Max G2 covers a faster, heavier commuter family.
Since the Pro and Max sit close in price, the Max adds range for little extra, while the Pro saves 2.2 lb and charges two hours faster. Browse more budget models in electric scooters under $500, or see every model in our foldable electric scooters collection.

All three GT3 models top out at 20 mph. The GT3 Pro and GT3 Max have a stronger 1000W peak motor, so they hold speed better on hills, but their top speed is the same.
The battery. The GT3 Max has a 596.7Wh battery rated for 46.6 miles, against 477.4Wh and 37.3 miles on the Pro. The Max weighs 2.2 lb more and takes 10 hours to charge, against 8 hours.
NAVEE rates the GT3 for up to 31 miles at 9 mph. Riding faster, in the cold or uphill brings that down.
The GT3 weighs 46.3 lb, the GT3 Pro 48.5 lb and the GT3 Max 50.7 lb. All three fold.
The GT3 Pro or GT3 Max. Both carry up to 265 lb and climb 22% slopes, against 243 lb and 18% on the GT3.

Three Segway Max commuters, one family. The G2 is the 36V original, the G3 moves to 48V with disc brakes and 11-inch tires, and the G3 Plus adds battery and a built-in fast charger.
NAMI builds two families of dual motor scooters. The Klima is the compact one, the Burn-E the big one, and each comes in a standard and a Max version. Here is how all four compare.
