Four scooters share the KUKIRIN G2 name. Two have one motor, two have two. Here is how fast each one goes, how far it rides, where it sits on price and who it suits.
The short answer
The KUKIRIN G2 family runs from 27 to 37 mph and from 34 to 43 miles of range, and every model sits under $1,000. The G2 is the light single motor commuter: 800 W, 27 mph, up to 34 miles and 57 lb, in the $500 to $750 band. The G2 Max, in the same band, adds a seat, knobby tires and up to 43 miles at 34 mph. The dual motor G2 Ultra (31 mph in Turbo, 34 miles) and G2 Master (37 mph, 43 miles) sit in the $750 to $1,000 band and climb the steepest hills.
KUKIRIN uses the G2 name for four electric scooters that share a 10-inch frame, springs at both ends, front and rear disc brakes, three speed gears, a folding stem and an IP54 water rating. All four carry riders up to 264 or 265 lb, and each offers 12 and 24 month warranty options on the product page.
We already compare the G2 and G2 Max with the faster G4 in KUKIRIN G2 vs G4 vs G2 Max. This guide stays inside the G2 family and gives the two dual motor models the same close look. See the whole lineup on the KUKIRIN brand page.
These are the three numbers most shoppers ask about first. Prices change with sales, so we give bands; the product pages show today’s price.

Maker figures, checked September 2026. Real range and speed depend on rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding mode.
Range figures come from gentle testing. Real range drops with rider weight, cold weather, hills and the top gear, as our guide to real electric scooter range explains.
The G2 Master is the strongest G2 by every measure: the most motor power, the only 52V battery and the highest top speed. The G2 Max is the long range single motor pick, because its battery is bigger than the G2 Ultra’s. The G2 Max also starts slowest in first gear, at 9 mph, which helps a new rider.
Top gear on the G2 Max and G2 Master is above 30 mph. Wear a helmet and gloves, learn in first gear, and check your state and city rules for where a scooter this fast may ride. Our safety gear guide covers what to wear.
KUKIRIN lists 20° climbing for the G2, 22° for the G2 Max, 26° for the G2 Ultra and 28° for the G2 Master. On the two dual motor models both wheels drive, which keeps grip and pull steady on hills, gravel and grass.
If your route has a long, steep street, the G2 Ultra or G2 Master is the safer choice. If it is mostly flat, a single motor saves weight and keeps the price in the lower band. Our guide to single vs dual motor electric scooters explains the trade off in more depth.
Knobby tires grip better on dirt and gravel but feel noisier on clean pavement. Tubeless tires resist pinch flats and can take sealant. Our catalog lists the G2 and G2 Max as off-road capable and the G2 Ultra and G2 Master as street models. Keep every tire at the pressure printed on the sidewall with our tire pressure guide, and if you do pick up a puncture, our sibling guide on fixing a flat electric scooter tire walks through it.
The G2 is the only one under 60 lb, so it is the one to pick if you carry it up stairs or into a train station. The G2 Master has the roomiest deck, and it is 15 lb heavier than the G2. All four fold to roughly the same length, so any of them fits in most car trunks. For storage ideas, read electric scooter apartment storage.

KUKIRIN also sells G2 bundles for two riders, at KUKIRIN’s bundle price: two G2s, two G2 Maxes, two G2 Masters, or a G2 Max with a G2 Master. Find them on the KUKIRIN brand page. KUKIRIN offers no bundle with the G2 Ultra.

The G2 and G2 Max sit in the $500 to $750 band, and the G2 Ultra and G2 Master in the $750 to $1,000 band. Prices change with sales, so check the product page for today’s price.
KUKIRIN lists 27 mph for the G2, with gears at 15, 21 and 27 mph. The G2 Max reaches 34 mph, the G2 Ultra 31 mph in Turbo and the G2 Master 37 mph.
KUKIRIN rates the G2 at up to 34 miles at medium speed, the G2 Ultra at up to 34 miles, and the G2 Max and G2 Master at up to 43 miles. Real range is lower in the top gear, in the cold and on hills.
The G2 Master has two 1,000 W motors and a 52V 20.8Ah battery, against two 800 W motors and a 48V 18Ah battery on the G2 Ultra. That gives the Master 37 mph, 43 miles and 28° climbing. The Ultra is 5 lb lighter and adds a touch screen with speakers.
Only the G2 Max includes a seat. The G2, G2 Ultra and G2 Master offer a seat as an option on the product page.
