E-TWOW scooter lineup compared: Booster ES, GT series and TankTorq

E-TWOW builds two very different families: featherweight models under 30 lbs and the TankTorq line with air tires, real suspension and up to two motors.

Published Oct 7, 20267 min read

The short answer

The E-TWOW scooter lineup splits into two families. The Booster ES, GT SL and GT Sport are featherweights at 25.6 to 29.3 lbs, with airless tires that cannot go flat, front and rear shock absorbers and a 3-point fold. The TankTorq models trade weight for comfort and power: 60V batteries, self-sealing tubeless tires and front and rear suspension, from the single motor TK2 Lite at 42 lbs to the dual motor TK5 at 76 lbs, 31 mph and up to 50 miles.

  • Booster ES: the lightest at 25.6 lbs, with 19 mph and solid tires, for short trips you carry.
  • GT SL and GT Sport: 29.3 lbs, 48V batteries, airless tires, three brakes and the E-TWOW app.
  • TankTorq TK2 Lite and TK2: 60V, 9-inch self-sealing tubeless tires and a 2.5 hour full charge, with one motor or two.
  • TK3 and TK5: dual motors and hydraulic disc brakes, up to 31 mph and 50 miles on the TK5.

Two families, two ideas

E-TWOW builds two very different kinds of electric scooter.

See the whole range, plus E-TWOW accessories, on the E-TWOW brand page.

Booster ES, GT SL and GT Sport: the featherweights

  • Booster ES: 25.6 lbs, a 500W motor (700W peak), a 36V 281Wh battery, 19 mph and up to 19 miles. It rolls on 8-inch solid tires that cannot go flat, with front and rear shock absorbers, an electric regenerative front brake and a rear emergency brake. It has three modes (Eco, Normal and Sport) and a 3-point fold with a folding handlebar and grips.
  • GT SL: 29.3 lbs, a 500W motor (700W peak) and a 48V 374Wh battery for 23 mph and up to 22 miles. It has 8-inch airless tires, front and rear shock absorbers and three brakes: electric regenerative at the front, a rear drum and a rear mudguard brake. Bluetooth links it to the E-TWOW app, and it charges to 100% in 3 hours.
  • GT Sport: the same 29.3 lbs and motor with a larger 48V 504Wh battery, for 26 mph and up to 25 miles. It adds zero start (push to go), lists UL 2272 certification per E-TWOW and comes in seven colors.
  • GT Sport Limited Edition: the GT Sport in a Midnight Blue metallic finish, with turn signals built into the handlebar and a mechanical bell.

The GT Sport is the one to choose in this family if range matters. It weighs the same as the GT SL and goes further and faster. The Booster ES saves almost 4 lbs for shorter trips. All four list a 242 lb maximum load.

Solid and airless tires never go flat but ride firmer than air tires, and these models pair them with shock absorbers at both ends. See solid vs air filled tires for the trade off, and commuter electric scooters for what else matters on a daily ride.

TK2 Lite and TK2: one motor or two

Both use a 60V 10Ah (600Wh) battery and 9-inch tubeless, 4-layer self-sealing tires, both list 25 mph and up to 28 miles, and both charge to 50% in 1 hour and 100% in 2.5 hours.

  • TK2 Lite: a single 600W rear motor (950W peak), front and rear hydraulic suspension with adjustable damping, a front drum and rear disc brake with regenerative braking, and over-the-air updates through the app. It weighs 42 lbs and carries up to 287 lbs. Below 10% battery, a low battery mode limits it to 7.5 mph.
  • TK2: a 600W motor in each wheel, and you can ride on both, the front or the rear. It adds traction control, front and rear disc brakes with energy recovery, an IPX6 rating, an auto headlight, RGB lights with turn signals and a two-point fold with an auto lock. It weighs 50.2 lbs.

About 8 lbs separates them. Choose the TK2 Lite to save weight, or the TK2 for steeper hills: it lists 25% climbing to the Lite’s 20%. Unsure whether a second motor is worth carrying? Read single vs dual motor.

TK3 and TK5: dual motors and hydraulic brakes

  • TK3: a 750W motor in each wheel (1900W peak) and the same 60V 600Wh battery, for 28 mph and up to 28 miles. It moves to 10-inch tubeless self-sealing tires, adjustable front and rear suspension and dual hydraulic disc brakes with energy recovery. Like the TK2, it has traction control, a choice of front, rear or both motors, IPX6 and an optional 8A fast charger. It weighs 54.7 lbs.
  • TK5: a 1000W motor in each wheel (3000W peak) and a much larger 60V 21Ah (1260Wh) battery, for 31 mph and up to 50 miles. It has adjustable hydraulic suspension, hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, 10-inch self-sealing tubeless tires, a 10W front laser light, turn signals and an IPX7 rating, and lists 30% climbing. It weighs 76 lbs and charges to 100% in 5.5 hours.

The TK5 is the E-TWOW for longer distances and rougher ground. It is the only model in the lineup listed as off-road capable, and its battery is more than twice the size of any other E-TWOW battery.

The E-TWOW lineup side by side

The table shows E-TWOW’s figures. E-TWOW also lists energy use: about 9.9 to 12.4 Wh per mile for the Booster ES, about 21 Wh per mile for the TK2 Lite, TK2 and TK3, and 19.3 Wh per mile for the TK5.

Maker figures, checked September 2026. Real range and speed depend on rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding mode.

Weight, folding and charging

  • Weight: Booster ES 25.6 lbs, GT SL and GT Sport 29.3 lbs, TK2 Lite 42 lbs, TK2 50.2 lbs, TK3 54.7 lbs and TK5 76 lbs.
  • Folded size: the GT models fold to 41.7 x 13.0 x 5.8 inches and the Booster ES to 38.6 x 13.0 x 5.9 inches. The TK2 and TK2 Lite fold to 43.5 x 19.7 x 17.0 inches, and the TK5 to 47.4 x 23.4 x 23.6 inches.
  • Charging: 100% in 2.5 hours on the TK2 Lite, TK2 and TK3, 3 hours on the Booster ES and GT SL, 3.5 hours on the GT Sport and 5.5 hours on the TK5.
  • Load limit: 242 lbs on the light family, and 286 to 287 lbs on the TankTorq models.

E-TWOW also makes a fingerprint lock that fits all its scooters and an air compressor pump for TankTorq tires.
