Altis Sigma vs Delta vs Omega: how the three ALTIS electric dirt bikes compare

ALTIS builds a ladder of three electric dirt bikes: the 72V Delta pit bike, the 96V Sigma trail bike and the 144V Omega race bike. Here is how they step up and who each one is for.

Published Oct 11, 20268 min read

The short answer

The Altis Sigma sits in the middle of the ALTIS ladder: a 25 kW peak hairpin motor, up to 688 Nm of torque, a 3,402 Wh Samsung 50S battery and a full size 19 inch front wheel, at 198 lb with the battery. Below it, the Delta is a 72V pit bike on 17/14 wheels with 13 kW, or 8 kW in the Delta S, and three speed levels. Above it, the Omega runs a 144V system, a 55 kW peak motor and a 5,040 Wh semi-solid-state battery for race riders. All three charge from 20% to 80% in about 2 hours (3 hours for the Delta S), and all are for off-road use only.

  • Delta: a 72V pit bike on 17/14 wheels, 13 kW (or 8 kW for the Delta S), with three speed levels.
  • Sigma: a full size 96V trail bike with 25 kW peak and a 3,402 Wh Samsung battery, in MX or Standard wheels.
  • Omega: a 144V race bike with 55 kW peak, 1,054 Nm and a 5,040 Wh semi-solid-state battery.
  • ALTIS does not publish range figures on our listings, so compare battery size. Every ALTIS bike is for off-road use only.

The ALTIS ladder at a glance

ALTIS lines its electric dirt bikes up as steps, each for a more experienced rider.

  • Altis Delta: a 72V pit bike frame on 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels, offered as the Delta, the Delta S and the Delta S Ghost Edition (the Delta S in white).
  • Altis Sigma: a full size trail bike with a 97.2V battery, offered in a 2027 or 2026 version, black or red, and MX or Standard wheels.
  • Altis Omega: a 144V race bike on 21/18 wheels, listed as a pre-order. Check the product page for the current ship window and versions.

ALTIS also makes the Vector, a 72V 50Ah bike, which is out of stock as we write. See the whole range on our ALTIS brand page.

Motor, power and torque

  • Delta: a 13 kW (17.5 hp) segmented motor with 385 Nm at the rear wheel, and 62 mph.
  • Delta S: 8 kW (10.7 hp), 273 Nm at the rear wheel, and 60 mph.
  • Sigma: a 25 kW (34 hp) peak hairpin motor with 688 Nm in the 2027 version or 601 Nm in the 2026 version. ALTIS rates it at 75+ mph with the Standard 18 inch rear wheel.
  • Omega: a 55 kW (74 hp) peak hairpin motor with 1,054 Nm (777 lb-ft) on a 144V system, and 75+ mph.

From the Delta up, each step roughly doubles the peak power. The Delta adds 5 kW over the Delta S in the same frame; the Sigma nearly doubles the Delta; the Omega more than doubles the Sigma. Every speed figure here is the maker’s, for off-road use only.

The Delta’s speed levels make it the easiest ALTIS to grow into. The Delta has levels of 15, 37 and 62 mph, and the Delta S has 22, 37 and 60 mph. Start in the lowest and move up as your control improves. Our sibling guide to electric dirt bike power modes explains how modes and factory limits work.

Battery and charging

ALTIS does not publish a range figure on our listings, so the battery size is the fairest guide. More watt hours means more riding at the same pace.

  • Delta S: 72V 30Ah LG, 2,160 Wh, 20% to 80% in about 3 hours.
  • Delta: 72V 35Ah Samsung, 2,520 Wh, 20% to 80% in about 2 hours.
  • Sigma: 97.2V 35Ah Samsung 50S, 3,402 Wh, 20% to 80% in about 2 hours and 20% to 100% in about 3 hours, from a household outlet.
  • Omega: a 5,040 Wh ALTIS semi-solid-state battery, 20% to 80% in about 2 hours.

Two hours for most of a charge is quick for packs this size, which helps if you ride twice in a day. Fast riding drains any pack sooner, as our electric dirt bike range guide explains, and the sibling guide on how to charge an electric dirt bike covers safe charging habits.

Wheels, seat height and chassis

The three bikes are very different sizes, so check fit before power.

  • Delta: 17/14 inch wheels, a 31.8 in (810 mm) seat, 10.8 in of ground clearance and a 46.8 in wheelbase, on a forged aluminum frame.
  • Sigma: MX wheels (19 inch front, 16 inch rear) for motocross tracks, or Standard wheels (19/18) for trail and open terrain. The 2027 version has a 35 in seat and 13 in of ground clearance; the 2026 version lists 33 in and 12 in. It weighs 198 lb with the battery, on a forged aluminum frame.
  • Omega: 21 inch front and 18 inch rear wheels, a 36.2 in seat, 12.6 in of ground clearance and a 55.1 in wheelbase.

The Delta is the only ALTIS that suits shorter riders. The Sigma and Omega seats sit 35 to 36.2 inches up, tall even by full size standards. Our guide to electric dirt bike sizes shows how to compare a seat height with your inseam. ALTIS lists a weight only for the Sigma, so ask us if weight matters for loading or lifting.

Suspension and brakes

  • Delta: adjustable spring-air off-road suspension on the Delta, spring-air on the Delta S. Heavy-duty disc brakes on the Delta, off-road discs on the Delta S.
  • Sigma: the 2027 version has a dual spring fork with 220 mm of travel, and the 2026 an air spring fork with 200 mm. At the rear, an 85 mm shock gives 200 mm of wheel travel through a linkage. Heavy-duty discs measure 260 mm front and 220 mm rear.
  • Omega: adjustable ALTIS factory suspension with 250 mm of front travel on the Standard. ALTIS lists a KYB fork and race shock for the Pro version.

Adjustable suspension pays off only when it is set for the rider’s weight. Our sibling guide to electric dirt bike suspension setup shows how to measure sag. Leave internal fork and shock work to a qualified technician.

Sigma 2026 or 2027, MX or Standard

The Sigma is the ALTIS most riders ask about, and it has the most choices. Both versions share the 25 kW motor and 3,402 Wh battery. The 2027 version adds the dual spring fork with 220 mm of travel, a Baja style headlight, more torque (688 Nm against 601 Nm), a 20 mm rear axle and a taller seat and more ground clearance.

Wheels change the job. The MX setup’s 16 inch rear wheel suits motocross tracks. The Standard 19/18 setup suits trails and open terrain, and it is the one ALTIS rates at 75+ mph, for off-road use only. The Sigma also has a 3.5 inch TFT display with an NFC key and five levels of regenerative braking.
