From the compact X3 family to the 96V Komodo, here is every Talaria we carry, sorted by price band, with the power, battery and weight that set each one apart.
The short answer
The Talaria lineup runs in four price bands. From $2,000 to $3,000 sit the compact X3 family (X3 Concept, XXX Black Edition, X3 / XXX) and the 60V Stings (Sting MX3, Sting R MX4 2024, Sting R Off-Road and Sting R Road Legal). From $3,000 to $4,000 come the X3 Pro, the 72V Sting MX5 Pro and the Sting R MX4 Expert. From $4,000 to $5,000 sit the road legal Sting L3E and the 88V Dragon 2025. Above $6,000 sits the 96V Komodo 2025.
Talaria builds everything from compact trail bikes to a full-size electric motorcycle, and every model we carry costs more than $2,000. Within each band, models run from the lowest price up.
Talaria tests range at different speeds: 15.5 mph for the Sting R models and the Dragon, 25 mph for the L3E and 28 mph for the Komodo. Our guide to electric dirt bike range explains how to read the numbers.

Maker figures, checked September 2026. Real range and speed depend on rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding mode.
The X3 family is Talaria’s compact line, built around a light chassis.
We don’t list a top speed for the X3 / XXX, XXX Black Edition, X3 Pro or X3 Concept. If top speed decides your choice, ask us before you order.
The Sting is Talaria’s light trail bike, and most Stings run on 60 volts.
Torque figures are measured differently. The MX3 figure of about 209 lb-ft is at the wheel. The Sting R figures of 33 or 37 lb-ft give no measuring point, and the Sting R has the bigger motor and battery.
The Sting MX5 Pro moves the Sting to 72 volts, and Talaria says that brings about 45% more power than the 60V Stings. Its IPM motor with an internal gearbox is rated at 5.5 kW with a 13.4 kW peak. The 72V 40Ah battery uses Samsung 50S cells, holds 2,880 Wh and charges in about 3 hours.
It stops with hydraulic disc brakes, upgraded calipers and 8.7 in rotors, and adds a color screen. This is the Sting for riders who have outgrown the 60V bikes.
The Sting L3E Road Legal is the Sting set up for commuting, back roads and weekend trails. It carries a 60V 45Ah battery (2,700 Wh), Eco and Sport modes, front and rear suspension, hydraulic disc brakes and an IP67 rating. Talaria lists 6 kW peak (up to 8 kW in some setups) and about 3.5 kW rated, up to 53 to 55 mph and about 53 miles at 25 mph.
The seat sits at about 33 in, it weighs about 157 lb with the battery, and charging takes 3.5 to 4 hours. Road legal still means paperwork: you title, register, plate and insure the bike under your state rules, and the rider needs the right license. Our guide to street legal electric dirt bikes walks through it.
At the top of the lineup, Talaria moves to full-size bikes with 21 inch front and 18 inch rear wheels.
Pick the Dragon for distance, the Komodo for air suspension, a faster charge and a higher max load. Both seats sit around 35 in or more, so check the fit before you choose.
Apart from the two road legal Stings, these are off-road bikes: ride them on private land with permission, at riding parks and tracks, and on trails open to off-road motorcycles. Comparing brands? In our catalog, the X3 Concept is the entry Talaria. It sits in the $2,000 to $3,000 band with the XXX Black Edition, Sting MX3, X3 / XXX and the 60V Sting R models. Each product page shows the current price.
Not quite. Talaria describes the X3 as the XXX rethought: a new 40Ah battery runs down the length of the bike, with adjustable Talaria suspension and a 19 inch front and 17 inch rear wheel. Our listing carries both names. The X3 Pro, also sold as the XXX Pro, is the stronger version.
By the figures on our pages, the Dragon 2025 at 70 mph, then the Komodo 2025 at 66 mph. The Komodo lists 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and the Dragon under 5 seconds. We don’t list a top speed for the X3 family.
The Sting L3E Road Legal and the Sting R Road Legal are sold as road legal. You still title, register, plate and insure them under your state rules. The other Talarias we carry are off-road bikes.
One folds and goes under a desk. The other carries groceries and eats long miles. Here is how to tell which one your trip actually needs.
A gas bike refuels in minutes and an electric one charges for hours. Almost everything else, from noise to upkeep to the way the power arrives, leans the other way.
Talaria and Surron cover similar ground in different ways. The real differences are battery size, weight, how many power steps each lineup offers, and which models come road legal.
