Bugatti electric scooter: the 10.0 explained, from price to specs

Bugatti's scooter pairs a 1,000 W motor, 10-inch self-sealing tires and touches you will not find on most commuters. Here is what it costs, what it does and who it suits.

The short answer

The Bugatti electric scooter we carry is the Bugatti 10.0, the 10-inch premium version Bugatti showed at CES 2023. It sits in the $1,000 to $1,500 price band and pairs a 1,000 W maximum motor with a 36V 15.6Ah battery, a 22 mph top speed and about 35 miles of range by Bugatti’s figure. You also get 10-inch self-sealing tubeless tires, a rear spring shock, a 286 lb max load and design touches such as leather grips, a touch screen with a passcode lock and ambient side lights. You pay for the design as much as the specs, so compare it with other commuters at the same price before you choose.

  • The Bugatti 10.0 sits in the $1,000 to $1,500 band. The product page shows today’s price.
  • Bugatti lists a 1,000 W maximum motor, a 36V 15.6Ah battery, 22 mph and about 35 miles.
  • It replaced the first 9-inch model with bigger tires, a bigger battery, more power and a higher max load.
  • At the same price, some commuters offer more speed, range or suspension. The Bugatti stands out for its design and finish.

What the Bugatti electric scooter is

Bugatti’s scooters come from a partnership, not from its car line. Bugatti partnered with Bytech International, a company that works in the design, supply and management of retail products, to create its first scooter, revealed at CES in January 2022.

A year later, at CES 2023, Bugatti showed the premium 10-inch version. That is the scooter we sell as the Bugatti 10.0. Bugatti says it has a larger deck, a build about 10% bigger and larger tires than the first model, with the same aerodynamic look.

It comes in three colors: the French racing blue Bugatti calls Agile Bleu, Black, and Yellow. Bugatti describes the black and yellow pairing as the favorite colors of its founder, Ettore Bugatti.

Bugatti electric scooter price

The Bugatti 10.0 sells in the $1,000 to $1,500 band in our store. Prices change with sales, so the product page always shows the current figure and any discount.

At that price you pay for two things. One is the hardware: a 1,000 W maximum motor, a 36V 15.6Ah battery and self-sealing tires. The other is the design: the Bugatti name, the EB monogram, leather grips, lit grip ends and side lights. Scooters at the same price put more of the money into speed, range and suspension, as the comparison below shows.

The price stays under $2,000, so you can split it with Pay in 4 at 0% APR. Or you can apply for a monthly plan with Affirm, which is subject to approval and can carry interest. Our guide to what an electric scooter costs shows what each price band buys across the market.

Bugatti 10.0 specs

These are the figures Bugatti and our product page list for the 10.0:

  • Motor: 1,000 W maximum power. Bugatti says it climbs an 18 degree incline.
  • Battery: 36V 15.6Ah with overcharge protection, charged with an EB shaped charger. Our product page lists a 6 hour charge.
  • Speed and range: a 22 mph top speed and about 35 miles on a charge, by Bugatti’s figures. Real range falls with rider weight, hills, cold and full speed riding.
  • Tires: 10-inch pneumatic tubeless tires with a built-in sealant that seals small punctures as you ride.
  • Suspension: a rear spring shock, hidden in the bottom of the deck near the rear motor.
  • Brakes: a front hand brake plus a rear electronic brake (E-ABS).
  • Max load: 286 lb.
  • Display and security: a large touch screen showing speed, riding mode, battery and headlight status, with a 4-digit passcode lock.
  • Lights: a headlight, LED lights at the ends of the leather grips, plus ambient side lights and logo lights that switch on with them.
  • Folding: a self-locking fold mechanism.

It is not a light scooter. Our spec sheet puts it in the 46 to 70 lb weight band, so plan for that if you carry it up stairs. See everything else from the brand on our Bugatti page.

The Bugatti 10.0 vs the first 9-inch model

The first Bugatti scooter, which we used to list as the Bugatti 9.0, is no longer in our catalog. Its old page now leads to the 10.0. If you saw the earlier model, here is what changed, going by Bugatti’s own releases. Each line reads first model, then 10.0.

  • Tires: 9-inch run-flat tires; 10-inch pneumatic tubeless tires that seal small punctures.
  • Motor: 700 W; 1,000 W maximum.
  • Battery and range: 36V 10Ah and about 22 miles; 36V 15.6Ah and about 35 miles.
  • Top speed: 18.5 mph in Sport mode; 22 mph.
  • Max load: 242 lb; 286 lb.
  • Suspension: none listed; a rear spring shock in the deck.
  • Weight: the first model was listed at 35 lb with a magnesium alloy frame. Bugatti gives no weight for the 10.0, which is larger and heavier.

Air tires and a rear shock make the 10.0 the more comfortable ride on rough city streets. Our guide to solid vs air-filled scooter tires explains what changes when you move from run-flat tires to air.

How the Bugatti 10.0 compares at its price

Two commuters from our catalog sit close to the Bugatti 10.0 in price and also run on self-sealing tubeless tires.

  • Segway Max G3 Plus: a 46.8V 717Wh battery for up to 56 miles, 28 mph, 11-inch self-sealing tires, hydraulic suspension front and rear, piston disc brakes front and rear, a built-in 209W charger (about 4 hours), IPX6, traction control and Apple Find My. Segway lists 56 lbs.
  • E-TWOW TankTorq TK3: two motors (1,900 W peak), a 60V 600Wh battery for up to 28 miles, 28 mph, 10-inch self-sealing tires, adjustable suspension front and rear, dual hydraulic disc brakes, a 2.5 hour full charge, IPX6, traction control and an app. E-TWOW lists 54.7 lbs.

Maker figures, checked September 2026. Real range and speed depend on rider weight, terrain, temperature and riding mode.

On paper, both rivals go faster and have disc brakes at both wheels, and the Max G3 Plus goes further. Both also have suspension at each end and a published water rating. The Bugatti 10.0 answers with its design, its lighting and a passcode lock. If specs per dollar matter most, look at the rivals. If you want the Bugatti look and ride mostly at city speeds, the 10.0 fits. Our commuter electric scooter guide covers more options.

Living with a Bugatti 10.0

Speed. The 10.0 tops out at 22 mph, but many cities set lower limits. In New York City, the limit for electric scooters on city streets and park paths is 15 mph, whatever the scooter can do. Check your state and city rules before you ride; our NYC rules guide covers the city in detail.

Tires. Self-sealing tubeless tires deal with small punctures, not cuts or sidewall damage. Keep them at the pressure printed on the sidewall, which also protects your range. Our tire pressure guide shows how.

Charging and storage. A full charge takes about 6 hours. Charge on a hard surface, away from your exit, while someone is home, and use only the supplied charger. Our guide to storing an electric scooter in an apartment has more on safe charging spots.

Security. The passcode lock stops someone riding off with the scooter, but it does not stop someone carrying it away. Use a real lock when you leave it outside. Our guide to protecting a scooter from theft covers locks and parking.

Gear. At 22 mph, wear a helmet every ride. Our electric scooter safety gear guide covers what else to wear.

Who the Bugatti 10.0 suits

  • Riders who want a scooter that looks like nothing else on the street, with Bugatti colors, lit grips and side lights.
  • City commuters who ride mostly at 15 to 20 mph on paved streets and want air tires and a rear shock for comfort.
  • Riders up to 286 lb who want a step up from a light commuter.
  • Not ideal for riders who carry their scooter up several flights of stairs, ride steep hills every day, or want the most speed and range for the money.

Orders ship free to the lower 48 states. The scooter is covered by the maker’s warranty (see our warranty page), and you have 14 days to return it if it does not suit you. Compare it with the rest of our electric scooters before you decide.
