A WEPED Sonic X frame cut from solid aluminum
WEPED cuts the frame from POSCO 6061 aluminum on CNC machines instead of casting it in a mold. As a result, the surface is smooth and free of air bubbles. Therefore, the frame stays strong for years.
Samsung cells, made in Korea
The 84V, 50Ah pack uses Samsung SDI 21700 50E cells. Moreover, WEPED builds the pack in Korea, and it carries KC certification.
WEPED Sonic X top speed
The top speed is about 80 mph. However, WEPED sets a safe-speed limit of about 75 mph for everyday riding.
Oil shocks, front and rear
A single oil shock sits up front, while dual oil shocks hold the rear. Together, they soak up rough pavement, so the deck stays calm.
13-inch tubeless tires
The big tubeless tires work with the suspension. Because of that, the ride stays smooth and soft, even on broken streets.
Hydraulic 4-piston brakes
At the front, dual 4-piston calipers grip the disc, whereas a 4-piston caliper grips the rear. On top of that, an electronic brake adds extra stopping power.
Dual BLDC hub motors
Two hub motors pull hard from a stop. Also, they keep plenty of power in reserve for hills and passing.
Two beams, three modes
Switch on once for the white low beam.
Tail and brake light
First of all, a bright tail light shows you to traffic from behind. In addition, it lights up harder when you brake.
Widescreen display
The wide screen shows speed, battery, time and distance at a glance. Meanwhile, the simple buttons are easy for anyone to use.
The WEPED Sonic X folds three ways
Everything folds, down to the wheels and the kickstand. As a result, the Sonic X fits in a much smaller space.
One gold pin
To fold or unfold, first pull the stainless gold pin, and then push it back in. After that, the pin locks the stem firmly, so nothing wobbles.
