A WEPED Sonic Dual frame cut from solid aluminum
To begin with, WEPED machines the frame from POSCO 6061 aluminum instead of casting it in a mold. As a result, the surface is smooth and free of air bubbles, and the frame keeps its strength for years.
Samsung cells, packed in Korea
Next, the 84V, 100Ah pack uses Samsung SDI 21700 50E cells. Moreover, WEPED builds it in Korea, and it carries KC certification, so you get about 124 miles of range.

In terms of speed, it tops out at about 100 mph. However, WEPED sets a safe-speed limit of about 87 mph for everyday riding.
WEPED Sonic Dual oil shocks, front and rear
A single oil shock sits up front, while dual oil shocks carry the rear. Together, they smooth out rough pavement mile after mile.
20-inch tubeless tires
Because they are so big, the 20-inch tubeless tires roll over bumps that stop smaller wheels. In addition, they work with the suspension for a soft, calm ride.
Dual BLDC hub motors
Above all, two hub motors pull hard from a stop. Also, they keep plenty of power in reserve for hills and passing.

Finally, the wide screen shows speed, battery, time and distance at a glance. Meanwhile, the buttons are simple enough for anyone.
Darksilver, or a color of your own
As standard, the frame comes in darksilver. Alternatively, WEPED can anodize it in a color you name, such as black, gold, green, red, blue, sky blue, charcoal khaki, dark brown, rose gold or orange. Then pick the custom color option and write your color.
Sonic vs Sonic X
For comparison, WEPED sets the Sonic next to the Sonic X. The Sonic carries an 8,400 Wh battery on 20-inch tires and measures 75.5 × 12.4 × 56.5 in, whereas the Sonic X has 4,200 Wh, 13-inch tires and 56.3 × 12.2 × 50.8 in. In short, the Sonic Dual is built on the bigger Sonic.
