The Segway Xiro dropper post
The Segway Xiro dropper post is an electronic seatpost that drops the seat when you stop. As a result, both feet reach the ground at lights and junctions. Speed, cadence and brake sensors tell it when to lower. Also, it runs on the e-bike battery, so there is no extra battery to charge. You can set the drop speed and turn Auto-Drop on or off. However, Segway asks for professional installation at a bike shop. Once fitted, it takes over the left round button, and the horn stops working. On the Myon, you can move it to the right round button instead.

Can I install the Xiro dropper post myself?
Segway does not advise it. Instead, have a local bike shop fit it, since it wires into the e-bike battery system.
Will I lose a handlebar button?
Yes. By default it uses the left round button, so the horn stops working. On the Myon, you can move it to the right round button, which normally runs the light. However, the MUXI has no other option.
How far does the seat drop?
It has 100 mm (about 3.9 in) of travel, and it carries up to 243 lbs.
