A four-bar rear suspension and an 80mm dual-crown fork with lockout. Gravel, roots, and potholes are absorbed rather than transmitted, and the fork locks for efficient pedaling on pavement.

How fast does the Hiboy EX11 go?

It ships as Class 2 at 20 mph. Pedal assist can be switched to 28 mph (Class 3) where permitted.

What range should I expect?

Rated at 100 miles of pedal assist and 53 miles on throttle for a 165 lb rider. Heavier riders on hilly trails should plan on 50 to 70 miles with assist.

Is it good off-road?

Yes. Full suspension, 26 by 4 tires, and 90 Nm of torque make it capable on dirt roads, gravel, and singletrack.

What does the torque sensor do?

It measures how hard you press the pedals and matches assist to it, so the bike feels natural and never surges. Cadence-sensor bikes only know whether the pedals are turning.

Can it climb steep hills?

Rated for 20% grades, and the 90 Nm of torque makes steep starts easy.

Is the battery removable?

Yes, with a key. A full charge takes 9 to 10 hours.

How heavy is it?

About 99 lbs. It is a bike you ride to the trail, not one you lift onto a roof rack alone.

What riders does it fit?

Recommended for 5’3″ to 6’5″.
