Hydraulic discs and a Shimano 7-speed
Front and rear hydraulic disc brakes stop a loaded bike from 28 mph with two fingers, and they stay consistent when wet. The 7-speed drivetrain keeps your cadence comfortable whether the motor is helping or not.

Pedal assist
Hall sensors feel you pedal and the motor adds power in three levels. This is the mode that stretches the battery the furthest and makes hills disappear.
Throttle only
Twist and go, no pedaling required. Ideal for pulling away from lights, or when you want to arrive without breaking a sweat.
Pedal only
Turn the system off and it rides like a 7-speed fat bike. Handy when the battery is charging indoors, or when you just want the workout.
