What the WEPED 60V rapid charger does

The WEPED 60V rapid charger puts out 3.5A and stops at 67.2V, the full charge of a WEPED 60V battery. In other words, it is the charger WEPED makes for its 60V scooters. Its model number is XVE251-06720350, and it carries KC safety certificate HU10666-24027.

Connecting it to your WEPED

WEPED scooters charge through an MS aviation-style connector. Therefore, you can order this charger with the MS connector already included, or without it if you have one. Both versions cost the same. On the plug, pin 1 is positive and pin 3 is negative.

Charger safety

WEPED lists these precautions, because skipping them can damage the charger or cause a fire:

• Use only the charger made for your scooter, and never mix different chargers.
• A matching plug is not enough, because the voltage and the battery type must match too.
• On other brands, check the voltage, battery type, plug type and polarity first.
• Do not crush, open, pierce or drop the charger.
• Charge indoors when you can, and keep the charger out of hot cars, sunlight and damp.
