SAFETY Comes First
The motor will not engage from a standstill. A child kicks to about 2 mph, the sensor wakes the motor, and it tops out at 5 mph. Ten seconds of no movement and it shuts off with a beep.

A 30W motor with 45W peak is enough for sidewalks and playgrounds and no more. Up to 6 miles on a charge is an afternoon of laps.
